Josephine (Josie) Tullo- NVLC Center Director
BA, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, New Parent Educator
Josie Tullo, founder and director of the Northern Virginia Lactation Center, has been board certified as a lactation consultant for over 19 years. Her main area of interest for the past 28 years has been educating and assisting new mothers and babies. Josie is particularly good in working with mothers in such difficult situations as: mothers with flat or inverted nipples, babies that refuse the breast, or latch on, take a few sucks and fall asleep, and other difficult situations. Josie has a wide range of breastfeeding knowledge from age 0 to toddler. She welcomes continued follow up care for her families. People call her the "Baby Breastfeeding Whisperer."
Josie is a graduate of Stony Brook University Long Island, NY with a degree in early infant and child development. Josie is an accomplished lecturer in the field of lactation teaching in such renowned programs as the Georgetown Lactation Consultant Training Program and for the Washington Families' First Lactation Consultant Training program. She is a published author and consultant for Childbirth Graphics.

Pynne N Floresca RN, IBCLC
Pynne received her nursing degree from Marymount University in 1994 and has worked in Maternal Child health since 1996. She completed her lactation education through the University of Wichita and received her lactation certification in 2004. For the past 12 years, Pynne worked at Mary Washington Hospital, first as a staff nurse and then as a lactation consultant. She also works with the Mary Elizabeth Project in Prince William county which is a mentorship for pregnant teens. She is married and has 2 teenage children.

Angela Espinoza
Office & Marketing Manager
Angela joined our team in Nov. 2010 after relocating from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Angela brings a strong Administrative background with over 20 years of experience in that field of work. She provides day to day support to our Lactation Consultants and clients and often times, you will find her with a baby in her arms! Since her baby is now 13 years old, she treasures those moments when she gets to hold our mommies babies!
When Angela is not at the office, she is working as a professional freelance photographer! Every so often she will donate her services to a family by way of contests for the Lactation Center. She supports breastfeeding 100% ! Photo coming soon!
Debora Flora
Rental & Office Support Specialist
On any given day, you can call the center and Debra is ready to help! She is available to assist you with pump rentals, bra fittings, or holding your baby! She offers day to day support to the Lactation Consultants and our Clients. Debora is the proud mother of 3 wonderful children, and also has a very artistic side- She is a custom jewelry maker, and we proudly display her work in our center.
Sarah Stacy
Satellite Support
Sarah Stacy brings over 10 years of business management experience to the office of NVLC. Sarah provides satellite support to the office and Lactation Consultants.
Sarah is the mother to a beautiful baby girl named Ava. Sarah and Ava were a successful breastfeeding team for over 11 months. Sarah also has experience using both personal and hospital grade breast-pumps.
